Diabetes Mellitus

There are 2 types of diabetes :-
 

Insulin dependent or juvenile diabetes(type 1) and Non-insulin dependent diabetes (type 2) 

Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which the blood sugar levels are high due to low or non secretion of insulin hormone, symtoms are characterized by increased frequency of urination, increased appetite, excessive thirst and negative nitrogen balance. It is a condition which can affect eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart, brain and can even cause Gangrene if not controlled.
